My Blue Eyes

Everyone knows my passion.  Special Olympics, and just special needs people are my passion.  I have a tattoo of the Special Olympics symbol for crying out loud.  I just enjoy seeing their happiness.  Helping them makes me realize that I honestly have nothing to complain about in my life.  I am in college, I have a nice car, a computer, tons of friends, and most importantly I have a wonderful family.  These kids get so happy over winning something as small as a medal.  They have every right in the world to complain, yet they are always happy.  They will do anything to make their friends happy too!  Those kids are honestly some of the most loyal, trustworthy, and best people in the world. Just being around them makes me happy.  If I have a bad day, I know just seeing them or talking to one of them will always cheer me up.  One little girl, named Arneshia, is truly my best friend.  She calls me at least once a week, just to ask how I am doing.  She never me for anything, except to come see her.  She deserves the world, but asks for nothing.  People like this are my passion.  Helping them do simple things such as win a gold medal at the Special Olympics is what makes +my blue eyes shine.

  1. Molly,
Your love and passion for Special Olympics and special needs people is amazing. I admire the fact that you take the time out to realize that there is so much more to life other than ourselves. I challenge you to remember this whenever someone does something that makes you upset, or that you do not agree with. Remember that no matter how upset you may be, or how crappy life can get at times...there are always people who you fight for, that can complain about something worse. I know this will help you see more positives, and learn more from the negative things that life may throw at times. I am so proud of you!
